Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 8, 2026
Overview
Forge is a native macOS application for managing App Store Connect. Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data Forge collects, how it is used, and your rights.
Data We Collect
Forge collects the following data:
- App Store Connect API credentials — Your Issuer ID, Key ID, and private key are stored locally on your device to authenticate with Apple's API. These credentials are never sent to our servers.
- Analytics data — We use Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer to collect anonymous usage data such as app opens, screen views, and feature usage. This data does not include your App Store Connect content or personal information.
- Feedback submissions — When you submit feedback through the app, we collect your message, email (if provided), app version, device model, and OS version. This is stored in our backend to help us improve the product.
- Crash reports — Firebase Crashlytics collects anonymous crash data to help us identify and fix issues.
Data We Do Not Collect
- Your App Store Connect content (app metadata, screenshots, pricing, reviews)
- Your Apple ID or App Store Connect password
- Your financial or sales data from App Store Connect
All App Store Connect data is fetched directly from Apple's API on your device and is not routed through our servers.
Third-Party Services
Forge uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google) — Analytics and crash reporting
- AppsFlyer — Attribution and analytics
- RevenueCat — Subscription management
- Apple App Store Connect API — Core functionality
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.
Data Storage & Security
Your API credentials are stored securely in the macOS Keychain. Feedback submissions are stored in Google Cloud Firestore. All network communication uses HTTPS encryption.
Your Rights
You can delete your locally stored data at any time by removing the app. To request deletion of any feedback data stored on our servers, contact us at [email protected].
Children's Privacy
Forge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Forge after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
